Joana Perrone (she/they) is a writer, poet, and researcher. Originally from Brazil, Joana currently lives in the United Kingdom, where she is pursuing a DPhil in Latin American Studies at the University of Oxford, studying gender violence under a philosophical lens.
Joana has been writing since she was young and has presented her work at several events in Brazil and the UK. Her research and nonfiction pieces have been published by the Oxford Feminist E-press, Blister, and Words in the Bucket, among others.
